08/15/2007 European Open / President's Cup 2007 The Disc Golf Presidents Cup, is the newest international disc golf event, founded in 2007. Presidents Cup origin was the idea to stage international matches between the best American professionals and Europeans. In 2006, aside of the inaugural disc golf European Open The Presidents Trophy -tournament was played. Immediatelly, it gained a huge interest between players and spectators. 08/6/2007 Nathan Doss won PDGA Pro worlds 2007
The PDGA Pro World Championship tournament at Highbridge Hills Sports Complex and Whitecap Ski Mountain in Wisconsin, USA was a real battle between 2005 world champion Nathan Doss and Markus Källström from sweden.
After finals it was only one stroke margin to secure the victory for Nathan Doss. Congratulations to all winners in all divisions.

07/7/2007 Jesper Lundmark won Skellefteå Open EuroTour tournament
Skellefteå local, Jesper Lundmark, won Skellefteå Open tournament. On the fourth round Lundmark finaly found his normal game and he scored a solid 50, -5 under par to finish with a total 213, -7 under par. Lundmark was the only player to finish with under par total score in the tournament.
After three rounds of the Skellefteå Open tournament, Anders Swärd, Sweden, has taken the lead. Swärd has a total score of 162, -3 under par. Jesper Lundmark is just a stroke behind, 163 -2 under par. Christian Sandström is third 164 -1 under par.
Tied for fourth with even par in this intense competition are Juho Parviainen, Finland, Linus Åström, Sweden and Espen Møkkelgjerd, Norway.

The first round of the Skellefteå Open tournament in Sweden is completed. Markus Källström played 50, -5 under par and is leading the tournament.
Lydie Hellgren, 60 +5 over par, is leading womens division and Peter Bygde, 55 even par, masters division.

07/2/2007 Timo Pursio won Tali Open EuroTour tournament in Helsinki
Timo Pursio won Tali Open EuroTour tournament in Helsinki, Finland by nine strokes with a total score 207. Pursio carded a new course record on the third round 48, -10 under par.
A local junior Jalle Stoor placed second, 216. Tied for third were Finns Ville Piippo and Toni Asikainen with a total score 223.
Lydie Hellgren, Sweden, won womens division with a score 218. Anne Matilainen, Finland, finished second seven strokes off the lead, score 225. Jenni Laakso, Finland, was third with a score 240.

06/21/2007 Russian Disc Golf Championship 2007 Yuri Rovda from St.-Petersbrug is the first ever Russian Disc Golf Champion!
06/20/2007 Christian Sandström won the third tournament of the 2007 Swedish national disc golf championship tour.
Swedish distance world record holder, Christian Sandström, won Malmö Open which was the third event of the Swedish national disc golf championship tour. Anders Swärd placed second two strokes behind Sandström, third was Patrik Berglund.
Lydie Hellgren won womens division, Ruben Smedberg won junior division and Christer Köhler won masters division. [ results ]
