WellWare Copenhagen Open 2008 / PDGA EuroTour 2008

A great way to promote the International professional disc golf

"The deal with our main sponsor, WellWare, is that they are throwing a seminar on Friday, April 25th in the park's café for their customers and business relations. They are taking care of this themselves", explains Sinus Frank, WellWare Copenhagen Open tournament director.

International disc golf star will host instructional clinics

After this seminar, there will be a two and a half hours disc golf arrangement, which Dave Feldberg will initiate and be the main instructor of. The participants will get some technique tips and play 6-9 holes with Dave and some players from local club.

2005 USDGC Champion and 2006 European Open Champion Dave Feldberg will be the star instructor for tournament main sponsors customers and business relations. Mr. Feldberg is a member of Innova team Champion Star. Members of the Innova team Champion Star represents the cutting edge of top pro disc golf athletes.

VIP treatment for the participants

The participants will also get a tournament disc, a players handbook/programme and a VIP ticket for Sunday, April 27th, where we - in the lunch break - will set up a separate VIP tent for them in conjunction with the tournament center tents. Here there will be a nice cold buffet with drinks and a big screen showing disc golf DVDs. Dave will use 10 minutes of his lunch break to sign the tournament discs, the VIPs have recieved on Friday.

After the lunch, when the semifinal starts for Open players - and finals for the other divisions, the VIPs will be invited to follow the lead groups with accompany of some of local club players. The VIPs will through the semifinals/finals get some information about, what the players are doing and why.

A closer look to the game of disc golf

"We hope that this arrangement will showcase disc golf in the best manner and on close range, and that the VIPs, who are all in some way working with sports or health, will get an interest of playing and sponsoring". With these words TD Sinus Frank sums up the whole deal. Way to go our Danish friends!
