The Disc Golf Presidents Cup, is the newest international disc golf event, founded in 2007.
Presidents Cup origin was the idea to stage international matches between the best American professionals and Europeans.

In 2006, aside of the inaugural disc golf European Open The Presidents Trophy -tournament was played. Immediatelly, it gained a huge interest between players and spectators. Team USA won Team Europe with 24,5 to 14,5.
